Bit & Pieces are an alternative to using Frit in projects. Bits & Pieces are leftover pieces of Vitrigraph which has been cut into very small lengths. Hollow stringers are also used and results in fractured shards of small pices of glass. Because this item "started out life" in the form of Vitrigraph stringers, its character is very different from frit. Frit has a consistency similar to sand to small pebbles, but Bits & Pieces are like long, thin straws of glass. Think of the "confetti" used as decoration on many cupcakes, and you'll start to understand how Bits & Pieces can be used. Please note, compatibility may not be absolute due to the high temperatures required to produce this glass.
